In the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 cryptocurrency apps in Ghana showed varying trends in weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance:

Binance: Buy Bitcoin & Crypto saw its weekly downloads fluctuate throughout Q1, starting at approximately 6.7K in early January and experiencing a dip to around 4K mid-January. By the end of March, downloads stabilized at about 4.8K. Active users for Binance remained relatively stable, hovering around 150K to 160K throughout the quarter, with a slight peak at around 161.8K in early March.

Cryptomania —Trading Simulator experienced a peak in weekly downloads at the beginning of January with over 5.1K downloads, followed by a decline to approximately 2.3K by mid-March, and ending the quarter with a slight recovery to about 3.9K. Active users showed a similar trend, starting from 16K in early January, dropping to around 10.7K mid-March, and ending the quarter at roughly 12.5K. Revenue for Cryptomania remained minimal, peaking at $2 in both the first and last weeks of the quarter.

Trust: Crypto & Bitcoin Wallet had a consistent download rate, beginning the quarter with 4.2K downloads and maintaining a steady pace around 3.3K to 4K throughout. Active users remained stable, starting at 77.8K in early January and ending the quarter at around 77.8K, with minor fluctuations.

OKX: Buy Bitcoin BTC & Crypto showed a notable variance in downloads, peaking at 3.6K mid-January but dropping significantly to below 300 downloads by the end of March. Active users started at approximately 5.9K in early January, saw a peak at 6.9K mid-January, and gradually declined to around 3.9K by the end of the quarter.

Ice Open Network saw its highest weekly downloads in mid-January at about 4.8K, but this number dropped significantly to around 129 by the end of the quarter. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 3.8K in early January, peaking at 6.2K mid-January, and decreasing to around 3.1K by the end of March.
